The next step for the Elizabeth Landmark

We are delighted to announce that a detailed Planning Application was submitted to Northumberland County Council in January 2019 for ‘Ascendant: The Elizabeth Landmark’.

A team of North East consultants have worked with artist Simon Hitchens through Autumn 2018 to develop the detailed design of the landmark, landscape and car-parking, together with archaeological and ecological assessments.  

We hope to announce the planning decision in Spring 2019 and then to develop fundraising for this ambitious landmark project.
